Hubert Fornalik, MD

Dr. Hubert Fornalik is a board-certified Gynecologic Oncologist who provides full scope of gynecologic services for patients with diagnosed malignancy, precancerous conditions and for complex patients with benign gynecologic conditions. Dr. Fornalik has unique expertise in robotic surgeries, radical debulking (R0 cytoreduction) procedures, HIPEC, sentinel lymph nodes mapping, nerve-sparing and fertility-sparing procedures, as well as surgeries in morbidly obese patients.

Dr. Fornalik performs 90% of his surgeries robotically (specialty average c. 70%). Robotic surgeries decrease surgical and medical complications allowing for successful treatment of even less ideal candidates. Robotic approach shortens the recovery time, enabling faster return to normality, but also earlier initiation of chemotherapy and radiation, which may improve cancer treatment results. Dr. Fornalik’s proficiency in utilization of combination of surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, and research trials allows him to offer personalized treatment for all patients, including unique circumstances and salvage treatments for recurrent cancers.
