... Understand Your Insurance Coverage: Regardless of your type of insurance plan, our financial counseling team will help you understand what services are covered, your anticipated out of pocket expenses, and the process to get the claims paid by your insurance.
... Understand Financial Assistance Options: After evaluating your insurance, our counseling team will inform the patient of potential assistance programs that will alleviate some or all of the "out of pocket" costs that are the patient's responsibility.
... Understand Other Available Resources: Our financial counselor can provide patients information about programs that may assist them with day to day living expenses, transportation costs, wigs, etc... While we cannot enroll patients in these programs, we can assist you in understanding what is available and help you get started.
... Make Payment Plans: For patients who may require an extended payment plan for their out-of-pocket costs, we will work with patients and families to come up with a plan that eases the financial strain. Patients can call our billing office directly at 800-331-9294 to get this started.
... Answer Your Questions: In addition to the items described above, a financial counselor is available to meet with you in person or over the phone to listen and assist with any other questions related to the finances involved in your care.
