Biography
Melissa Krzus MSN, FNP-BC is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who received her graduate degree from Saint Xavier University in Chicago, Illinois. She earned degrees in Psychology and Nursing from Valparaiso University and Purdue University and was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau honor society. She has a previous background working at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in the Neonatal Intensive Care unit. She served as Chairman of the Quality Assurance committee, member of the neonatal code team and was a clinical coordinator. Melissa has worked as a nurse practitioner in family medicine and urgent care settings. She has experience managing acute and chronic conditions spanning all age ranges. Melissa has helped as a clinical preceptor and supervisor of nurse practitioner students and is a member of the American association of Nurse Practitioners.
