Biography
Lisa Danko, RN,MS,NP is a lifelong resident of NW Indiana and has served our community as an experienced and dedicated healthcare provider for over 30 years. Prior to joining Northwest Cancer Centers, Lisa cared for patients as an inpatient staff nurse and as an outpatient nurse working with Nephrology and dialysis patients.
In addition to directly caring for patients, she has also worked to develop the professional growth of other healthcare professionals as a Med-Surg Clinical Nurse Educator, a guest lecturer at Purdue University’s Associate Degree Nursing Program, and supervisor of clinical nursing rotations.
Lisa joined the Northwest Cancer Centers family in 2002 and has now cared for patients in the Oncology and Hematology field for more than 20 years.
When not in the office, Lisa is an active member of the Oncology nursing society. Most importantly, Lisa loves to spend time with her family making memories on vacations and watching football, especially Notre Dame!
