Biography

Jody Adams, MSN, APN joins Northwest Cancer Centers with over 20 years' experience in treating patients with cancer in Northwest Indiana. Jody's work in both independent community practices as well as academic institutions provides her with a comprehensive perspective on cancer care. This diverse experience enhances her ability to deliver personalized, evidence-based treatments to her patients. In addition to her work treating patients, Jody has served as an educator helping advance the knowledge of nursing students as a lecturer at Purdue University Calumet. Jody is committed to serving the people of Northwest Indiana . Jody describes her relationship with her patients as, “bringing a comprehensive and compassionate approach which encompasses the entire person, as well as their loved ones. I focus on having excellent communication skills to connect with my patients and all the members of their care team”.

 

 

Outside of the Cancer Center, Jody , enjoys spending time with her family, reading, traveling and needle work. Being a grandmother to 2 boys and 4 grand-pups brings endless joy and memories that she cherishes.
