Biography

Dawn Little joined Northwest Cancer Centers as a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner in September 2025.  Dawn previously gained experience in the field of Oncology & Hematology while serving as an Infusion nurse here from 2016-2021.

During her time working as an infusion nurse, Dawn completed her education as a nurse practitioner at Simmons University where she was inducted in the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.  

Dawn brings over 27 years of diverse nursing experience to her role including intensive care, oncology, cardiovascular recovery, and case management.  

Her clinical expertise spans all age groups, with a focus on chronic disease management and same-day care.  Dawn is certified in Infusion Therapy, BLS, and advanced procedures including CIWA management and post-open-heart surgical recovery.  She has also served as a Clinical Coach for Nurse Residency Programs.  

Dawn is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, American Nurses Association, Indiana Nurses Association, and the AACN.  In addition to her clinical work, Dawn lives for her family.  She spends as much time as possible with her husband of 30 years, her daughters and growing crew of grandkids!  She's also committed to her community, volunteering for local organizations such as the Lake Township Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.
