Biography

Dr. Omar Azem, MD, is a radiation oncologist dedicated to delivering evidence-based, patient-centered cancer care.

After earning his medical degree at Northeast Ohio Medical University, Dr. Azem completed his residency training in Radiation Oncology at Rush University Medical Center, one of the Midwest’s leading academic cancer centers. While at Rush, Dr. Azem served as chief radiation oncology resident and developed expertise in the multidisciplinary treatment of a wide range of cancers while working alongside nationally recognized leaders in radiation oncology.

In addition to his clinical training, Dr. Azem has maintained a strong commitment to cancer research and academic medicine. He has been an active member of the radiation oncology community, including presenting original research at the 2024 American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) Annual Meeting, the premier scientific conference in the field. His research has focused on improving treatment outcomes and advancing evidence-based care for patients with cancer.

Dr. Azem combines advanced academic training with a compassionate approach to patient care, ensuring each treatment plan is tailored to the individual needs and goals of the patient.
